Australian owned and manufactured HyDrive Engineering Pty Ltd, have combined smart cylinder and helm re-design and manufacturing efficiencies to produce a new economical range of hydraulic steering systems that offer exceptional performance for small boats.

The Commander Series is designed exclusively for leisure boats with single outboards up to 200HP or twin outboards up to 400HP combined – counter-rotating. Each Commander Series kit includes the new 501N8 Helm, 2 litres of Ultra15 fluid, 15m of high pressure flexible hose, fittings, bleeder kit, instructions and a cylinder model  to suit either an outboard motor, sterndrive, inboard motor or jet. There is a Commander Pro Series available for commercial or professional use.

Our Admiral Series OBKIT1 set a performance benchmark in the market, and the introduction of this new Commander Series offers a budget range of kits making it more affordable and easier to switch from cable steering to the smoother, lighter hydraulic steering.”
